The First Trip Home

This weekend I made my first trip back home to Picayune. I am still here right now actually. It has been so good to get to see everybody. I have been constantly busy the entire weekend though trying to make sure that I make enough time for all of my family and friends. Of course I saw my parents first. They were probably the most excited to see me. I brought home all of my dirty clothes from the week for my mom to wash, and she was so happy that I was home that she didn't even mind.
My little brother was next. He is two years younger than me, and he is definitely one of my best friends. He got a new system for his jeep, so we rode around town and listened to it for a little while. Then I went and surprised my little eleven-year-old cousin. We are so close that everyone thinks that she is my little sister. She was really surprised to see me, so I stayed at her house for a while and played on her new Wii-Fit. It was a lot of fun. I broke her hula-hoop record on it hahaha. After I got back to my house a few of my friends came over, and we just talked for hours. Last night I went and kicked the soccer ball around with a guy that I had dated earlier this year. We are still really close, so it was really nice to get to talk to him for a while.
I'm still at home right now, but this morning I got to go to church with my family. I am about to go see my Mawmaw for a little bit, and then go to the movies with some of my friends. I think that I'm going to stay in town again tonight and just drive back to Clinton early tomorrow morning. I might just have to miss my 9:00 class, because I really don't want to leave at six in the morning. I guess I'll just see how the rest of today goes. I hope everyone else has had as good of a weekend as I have. Peace out :)

I love visiting family! Honestly, I never thought that would miss the home life so much! In college, Mom hugs are sorely missed and home cooked meals are scarce. Its good to know that you always have a place to go and people who love you. = )

Emily,
I know what you mean about going home and seeing everyone for the first time. I remember my first time this year to go home I was so excited and so was everyone else.

yea usually when i go home i take my dirty clothes too so that someone besides me will wash them, and to get some of that home cookin cause last time i checked school food is terrible, and if you dont eat that then you have to get fast food which isnt really awesome
